 Rosa Mobile was made on the basis of the Linux system, and the developers tried to combine in it the best experiences and experiences for Android and iOS users, so the new operating system should be familiar to owners of modern smartphones.

 It is noteworthy that the creators of the system have developed all the engineering solutions and, for example, have rewritten drivers for the phone's components.  In addition, Rosa Mobile did not use Android components to protect smartphones from a possible shutdown by Google, however, Russian phones will be available to download various applications familiar to users.

 The developers agreed to release the first batch of Russian smartphones in the city of Zelenograd, where the Rotec assembly line is located.  And is now in talks with other companies.

 It is ordinary users, of course, who will eventually be consumers of a Russian smartphone.  But Karpitsky assumed that workers in the state sector and government companies would buy the new phones in the first place.

 It is noteworthy that the Russian media had reported in 2022 the existence of a Russian-made operating system in the "Rosa" Scientific and Technical Center.
